This year the Eurovision party was back on! Though minimal with a limit of 6. Still I had to make some crafty thank you gifts… and then forget to give them out! D’oh! Blame the wine.
I made these little boxes for Lindt chocolate bars. The ribbon runs under the chocolate so that when you pull the bar gets pulled out. Simply but effective!
For the sentiment I used the Forever Grapevine bundle which let me stamp the sentiment, border and then cut it out. I’ve included some instructions for creating the box below.
Instructions:
Card: 3-5/8″ x 6-1/2″
Ribbon: 20″
2x patterned paper: 7/8″ x 5″
Score:
Short side: 5/8″, 1-5/8″, 2-1/4″, 3-1/4″
Long side: 5/8″, 5-3/4″
Cut the bottom on the box as above and make ribbon holes in the top. Then lay the ribbon out with the chocolate bar as shown and create the box around the bar. You can also just add the ribbon and chocolate after making the box but as above is less fiddly I found.
