My first explosion box. Made for my step dad’s birthday… I won’t share how old he is 😉 He plays piano and keyboard so easy theme to choose.
Piano made from a template found via Pinterest and made by German graphic designer M.Franjisic. Link. Just added the stand as it was looking a little naked.

“happy birthday” text made by layering card die cut with Well Written Framelits Dies (148534) and heat embossing the top layer. Fiddly, but the layering really makes it pop.
The explosion box was decorating with piano keys (of course). Just strips of black and white card. The base is made with one piece of A3 black cardstock. It’s not quite a cube as it needed to be big enough to fit the piano and the card was not big enough to match the height. Happily, it did work out and I think makes it more interesting.

I would like this piano box for 18 th birthday.. how much is that pls …

Hi, Daniela, I have downloaded the template – did you just print them on black cardstock paper? Is there a tutorial on how to put them together? Thanks for providing this wonderful resource!

Sorry, I meant to type Samantha! I tried printing it on white, but the black color was splotchy. Did you also cut with an electronic machine? Or fussy cutting? Thanks!!!!

Hi Erica,
I printed out on standard white paper and used that as a template to hand cut out the black card. Good luck!
