Party Puffins Alcohol Technique Birthday Card

I made this card for my husbands birthday this year. He loves penguins so I figured he probably likes puffins too and I was right!

This is the first time I’ve tried the alcohol technique which produced this marble-esque background. You scribble on vellum with Stampin’ Blends (which are alcohol markers) and then add a high % Isopropanol which loosens the colour and allows the swishing blending effect. Definitely a technique I can see getting better effects with after practicing but it was fun and I like the result.
