Trio of Regal Rainbow Cards

So I had a rainbow day and decided to try a few variations on the same theme. Using strips and small pieces of cardstock in multiple colours.

This is a great way to use up scraps and odd pieces of leftover card. You can use whatever colours you have around, in may case its almost all from the SU Regals collection because that’s the set I got as a bundle last year 🙂

Balloons and Stripes
Stripes and Foxy Sunset

So here’s my fave, thin stripes. Using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and (now retired) Part of my Story stamp set. As you can see it’s super simple but I love it. I’m torn between gifting it and keeping it for myself… or I could just make more…

The cutest of foxes! This fox builder punch is going to be retired, but this will not be the end of him as he’s too cute. I’ve also seen lots of posts on Pinterest on how to make other animals out of the same punch so that’s something else to try. His nose and eyes are done with Ebony Nuvo Drops.

Last but hopefully not least, a good card for someone leaving work, moving away or going travelling. This uses the Hand Delivered stamp set but I actually covered all of the stamped balloons with disks I punched out approximately the same size. I think it looks great and adds lots of dimension. The skirt has been heat embossed with black powder to add more texture and I dotted some pearl jewels around just to break up the white space without being a distraction.

You can find supplies for the products used for all 3 projects below. These link directly to my Stampin’ Up! store so you can easily order from there now – hooray! If you do, expect to receive a handmade thank you card from me, as long as you allow your details to be shared for marketing purposes (else I won’t see them). 🙂 If you have any questions just get in touch.

Thanks for reading and hope you come back soon for more ideas and inspiration.
