
Pootlers blog hop time! This time the theme is Sentimental Swirls which is a stamp set designed by Chief Pootler Sam Hammond Donald. Hurrah!
There are 27 images in this stamp set which makes it lots of fun to mix and match. Adding extra swirls and elements for endless combinations!
I stamped on shimmer vellum with a matching ink colour and then cut out the images. As it takes a while for the ink to dry on the shimmer vellum most of it rubbed off leaving me with the flowers and leaf elements. I added Bumblebee In Colour Jewels to the centres which really brought it together.






This type of card is called a dutch fold, a type I’ve not made before but once I figured out the elements it was super simple.


Since I made this card for special birthday I decided it needed a special envelope too. It’s a standard box but instead of the top having a fold close I punched ribbon holes and tied with the gorgeous satin Soft Succulent ribbon.
