Zoo Globe: New Baby Cards

My first play with the Zoo Globe stamp set and matching dies and shaker domes. Perhaps controversially I haven’t used these as shaker/snow globes, just globes. đŸ™‚

I made this first white card to celebrate a friends new baby. My usual Stampin’ Blends colouring and fussycutting for the tree and animals. I used the Subtle 3D embossing folder on plain Whisper White card to add some texture but still leave the globe the main focus.

The base of the glove was created by using Delicata silver metallic ink, with silver heat embossing over the top. Then black heat embossing for the sentiment. I tested out a few different ways to do the bases (easier version below), but this is definitely my favourite!

The accompanying present was a cute onesie which of course needed to be custom wrapped. Made with retired paper and Bumblebee 1/4″ ribbon. The tag was made using the Scalloped Tag Topper punch and the retired stamp set and matching Timeless Label punch.

Here’s card two. Using Artistry Blooms patterned paper with a lovely green gradient and retired leaf ribbon. The base on this dome is just Smoky Slate card and ink, with just the sentiment heat embossed.

I hope you like them!

Sam xx
