Heart Boxes and Card – TCK 28 – Heart of Gold.
I figured I’d stick with black and gold this week and share my trio of makes from Tonic Craft Kit 28! Nearly caught up now, but have 25 to share with you next week.
So the name of this kit was “Heart of Gold” and it came with supplies to make these heart shaped boxes, the flowers and lots of options for die cuts to decorate. It also came with lots of different black and gold pretty paper! So I feel a mash up with my Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee/Golden Honey supplies. Check out Tuesdays post if you missed all that glory!
I decided to make a cute little card to go with one of the boxes, just to have gotten the stamps involved too. It did include a Valentines sentiment but I went for Mother’s Day instead. 🙂 Close your eyes mum!
So I will say that these took a long time to put together. the actual boxes are very quick and simple on their own but the decoration was a LOT of die cutting and a LOT of fiddly gluing. I think it was worth it though as they look pretty special.
To get as many of the supplies in as possible I added the little flowers and used Nuvo drops for the centres and some glitter on the petals. Perfect finishing touches.
