Tonic Craft Kit 20 Makes

Dragonfly gift box and matching card – TCK 20 – Woodland Walk.

I’m slowly catching up on these kits! For Woodland Walk I had to try out the gift box die that came with it, but then wanted to play with more of the goodies so did a matching card too.

It was a little fiddly to do the gift box but something that definitely gets easier after a few goes I think. The box is made from Fresh Mint pearlescent card and held together with the jute bakers twine supplied in the kit.

I focused on the dragonfly accompanying die as I thought it was cute. It’s cut out on Green Leaves specialty card for the gift card and Flourishing Green mirror card for the box. I embellished the sequins on the box using the Caramel Latte crystal drop and also actually used the drops to adhere a sequin to the card – top tip!

I sprayed the Tan Brown classic card with the Wild Olive mica mist, then poofed on some Falling Leaves shimmer powder while it was still wet. A messy business but it looks pretty cool. I did end up with a bit of a wonky card. So I backed with Grass Green classic card for some stability.

The front is matted with Green Leaves speciality card and Oak Woodgrain speciality paper. I sprayed some more mica mist onto white card and stamped the sentiment “Love” from the kit.

So all together I managed to use a lot of the supplies! Though there were even more in the box. I am enjoying them still and think they’re good value. They’re pushing me to try new techniques and styles I wouldn’t choose on my own.
