Dog House Treat Box with Instructions

Has your dog been a very good boy? Or are you looking for a homemade house warming gift? Then I think this little treat box might be the perfect thing to make and fill with goodies of your choosing. Featuring the Playful Pets suite and In Good Taste photo papers.

The roof lifts up on one side to expose the tied up top. The box is 2-1/4″ by 3-1/4″ and 3-1/4″ high (plus the roof), so a decent size for little goodies. I filled these with Winalot Shapes as they had hearts, houses and bones in them – perfect!

I used a dimensional to close up my roof but magnets would work great if safe for your recipient.

I used the plain heart from the Heart Punch Pack for the door but you could just cut a square or your own design. I thought this was fun though as a little Valentines doggy treat for the canine love in your life.

The sentiment is from the Pampered Pets stamp set but I used a die from the Potted Succulents bundle to frame it (perfectly!). 🙂

Here’s an alternative colour design, both roofs use the In Good Taste papers. The dogs are both fussy cut from a sheet of the Playful Pets patterned paper.

Instructions

As the top of the box is bit fiddly to do I’ve put together an instructions sheet as well as the measurements.

I hope you like these little doghouse treat boxes. If you have a go please tag me or send pictures so I can see your take on it. 🙂

Sam xx
