Birthday Fishes – Fish Tank Cards

I haven’t used the Whale of a Time suite very much so figured it was time for a play! The idea for these fish tank cards made using acetate/window sheets popped into my strange brain and here’s the reality!

I made this 6″ x 6″ card with a single sheet of the patterned paper for the front, and another (the seaweed) for the inside, plus a different design for fish themselves. I hand cut the fishes for both cards from a single piece of paper – quite therapeutic! I embellished using the Clear Epoxy Droplets I think they make cute bubbles!

This second card is 4″ x 6″ using a single piece of the patterned paper cut in two. I used the 2″ excess to decorate the inside of the card. That’s 4 of the 48 sheets you get in the pack for both cards. Loads more still to play with!

On this card I used the matching sheer ribbon from the suite. It’s very soft and lovely and matchy matchy! Also worth noting that these cards fold flat so can fit in standard envelopes and be posted.
