Both of these cards feature the Last A Lifetime stamp set from Stampin’ Up! The flowers and both sentiments are from the stamp set (among others) and I think it’s a great set for weddings in particular.
This first card has a more generic sentiment so could be used for many situations. For the background I ran some Cherry Cobbler plain card through my die cutting machine in the Hammered Metal embossing folder. I think it gives a leathery or snakeskin effect. The sentiment is cut out using the stitched nested label dies.
Both cards feature the flowers stamp, which I coloured with blends. I like to do this ahead of time so I stamp a load of images, then colour and cut out while watching TV and spending time with my husband.
As you can see with this second card the background is a solid piece of patterned paper, so super quick and easy to do. The sentiment is cut with the stitched rectangle dies and the flowers added with dimensionals. As the DSP is so fussy I didn’t think this card needed anything else!
