More Beautiful Bees

Of course the bees are back. They’re too lovely to stay away. Check out my previous post with these supplies here.

I’m using the Honey Bee Bundle which includes dies and stamps. During Sale-a-bration you could buy the bundle and add the Crushed Curry Crinkle Ribbon used here for £45 and get the Golden Honey Speciality DSP (pretty patterned paper) for freeee. All products linked at the bottom of this post for your browsing and buying pleasure.

Here, I used the tag topper punch to shape the sentiment, then trimmed the sides to make it chunkier. The bees are lovely, but did involve getting my hands on the Botanical Prints Product Medley as they aren’t sold separately. I’ve been having a play with the Medley and will share some creations soon.

I’ve used two different sheets of the patterned paper to last time. They’re all just lush. I decided to make ribbon the focus of both cards but in different ways. I love the big black satin bow, but I think that’s because I managed to tie it so neatly. The crinkly ribbon is my fave and wrapping it around the paper was so easy (unlike the bow!).

The bees have been stamped on vellum with just black ink. Once dry, I coloured their body stripes using a yellow Stampin’ Blend in Daffodil Delight. They’re cut out with the coordinating dies from the bundle. So quick and easy to do.

I hope these cards give you some inspiration if you already have the goodies, or check them out below for more info.

Thanks for reading,
Sam xx
