Oo it’s time to get decorating. December is almost here and Christmas time is beginning. Here’s a very different take on the Brightly Gleaming suite. With a lot less focus on the very pretty but very elusive paper.
The copper foil is so lush and brings out the sentiment really well. For the holly, I stamped the outline with Smoky Slate and then coloured with blends. They’re fussycut out and glued directly onto the card with no dimension. Though I did add a bit of Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the berries to give them a shine and some texture.
I also made this matching cute 2inch box using the holly designed paper. It holds a little tealight holder (from IKEA) perfectly snug.
Here they are again tomorrow. Super cute. Little 4inch card and 2inch box.
I’m really enjoying this suite and it’s so easy to make something gorgeous out of the colour matchings.
