Tic Tac Toe Challenge: InspireInk Blog Hop September

So this months challenge is a Tic Tac Toe! I chose Halloween, Gorgeous Grape and Basic Black.

I needed to box up this large chocolate skull lollipop from Hotel Chocolat so figured I would use that for this project. It’s pretty top heavy so I ended up building a double insert to hold the stick in two places. It stands solidly and the recipient shouldn’t be able to guess what’s inside – which is the aim!

The cardstock and sentiment are Gorgeous Grape but I had to cheat a little with colouring the monster with Highland Heather as there are no Stampin’ Blends. As usual with Stampin’ Up! it co-ordinates great though. The monster and sentiment are both from the Boo To You stamp set. How fun are the googly eyes too? Matchy matchy!

It’s difficult to photograph but the spiders are clear heat embossed onto the basic black cardstock and really stand out in person. The spider is from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set.
