Pootlers Blog Hop: New Products

Today I’m hopping with the Pootlers! We’re celebrating the new Stampin’ Up! catalogue and all the new product goodies that comes with it.

My project is featuring the new In Colours for 2019-21 and the Free As a Bird stamp set from the new Bird Ballad suite.

My backing cardstock is a new colour – Purple Posy. It’s a soft lilac to my eye and very pretty. I’ve then used the largest of the new Stitched Nested Labels in Pretty Peacock. This is also a new In Colour and will ease my loss of Tranquil Tide 🙂 I actually prefer Pretty Peacock as it’s more on the blue side and goes well with my Curious Moose Crafts colours.

I’ve used twine to create a nest and topped with a fussycut stamped image from the Free As a Bird Stamp Set. The birds image is coloured in with Stampin’ Blends – my new faves.

The sentiments (inside and out) are also from the Free As a Bird stamp set. They’re stamped using the new Terracotta Tile ink pad and the inside of the card is matted with matching card. The dotted line underneath the front sentiment is die cut from the Stitched Nested Labels set. I thought the sentiment was an apt one to use for this hop as the Pootlers team really are the best friends.
