Hidden Gift Card Pull Slider Card

So this is my first attempt at a slider card and I went for the double – go hard or go home right? I was pretty happy with it actually. The left hidden section was for the message and on the right is a gift card attached with glue dots for easy removal.

Ink colours: Night of Navy and Tranquil Tide (my fave at the moment) both currently available from Stampin’ Up! (SU)

Ribbon: Tranquil Tide 3/8″ (1 Cm) Mini Ruffled Ribbon (146948) also available from SU.

The dragon is cut from the glorious (but retired :() Myths and magic DSP (designer series paper) and stamp set is the matching Magical Day stamp set. Also retired, I know, I’m such a tease. However, it was retired when I got it so you can still pick these things up on eBay etc 🙂

To add to the matchy matchy goodness, how well do the colours go with the Love2shop gift card? Co-ordination sparks my joy!

Envelope made using the envelope punch board, available from SU: https://www2.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/133774/envelope-punch-board. When you checkout it will ask you for a demonstrator. You can search for me by name: Samantha Thorpe and it will allow you to complete your checkout.

I’ll do a post with more detail on the envelope punch board, but if you’re interested now there is lots of content to find online including SU’s own video: https://youtu.be/JzokPixtpko

Thanks to Caly Person for the inspo and tutorial for the slider mechanism (https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/478929741602959092/)
