Look at this happy little taco face. 🙂 He’s from the Witty-cisms stamp set which I love and am slowly working through the different image/sentiment combos. I included a little gift voucher holder on the inside of one of the cards which would also be perfect for a gift card.
The stripy backgrounds of these cards are made using water painters. These are paint brushes with a well of water so you can gently squeeze the handles and it flows through to the brushes. Great for water colouring but that’s beyond my abilities for now. I thought I’d start off simple with this stripe technique. Using ink pads you run the brush across the pad and then across the paper. It quickly got easier to control with a bit of practice.
