Dinoroar Birthday

Well the picture tells the story really doesn’t it! My nephew had his 6th birthday on Tuesday and I bought him an AMAZING dinosaur pop up book. Which I totally wanted to keep for myself. A clear choice for gift bag and matching card is the Dinoroar suite!

When I say suite though, although there is a whole suite of matching goodies, I just got the paper. I’ve been doing that quite a bit and it’s a really good way of getting into different styles while keeping the spend down.

I made the gift bag using 2 sheets of the same style from the patterned paper and then fussy cut the 3 dinosaurs from another sheet. So less than 3 sheets used total.

I picked out 3 colours from the paper to focus on: Pretty Peacock, Mango Melody and Old Olive.

The matching tag was super quick to put together using punches, and the pterodactyl (I think?) is so sweet. Look at him flying through the air on his tag.

The stone effect on the background is from using an embossing folder with my die cutting machine. This embossing folder comes out as a freebie in the new Saleabration catalogue January 3rd. With a £90 spend you can choose this embossing folder and a Japanese themed stamp set for freeeee. Plus you get your £90 worth of goodies so lots to play with.

The star embellishments are retired and something I snaffled from the clearance rack last year. Always a good place to grab a bargain, but also for getting items no longer available but are still matchy matchy!

Thanks for reading. Check out my social media links will you?
