Finally my Christmas crafting has begun and what better way to start than with a moose? Obviously I couldn’t resist buying this “Merry Moose” bundle from Stampin’ Up! and the little racoon is cute too.
When choosing a colour to feature I admit to being lazy/predicable with choosing “Merry Merlot”. I mean the matching name + wine = decision made.
For the snow effect I used Cosmic Shimmer Fluffy Stuff and heat set it to puff up. I’m pretty happy with it and tried it on a few cards this week. However it isn’t very hard wearing at all and does rub off, so that’s a shame. Stampin’ Up! have released their own version of this in the US so fingers crossed it makes it’s way here next year and I can test that one. If you’re not worried about the rubbing off I would recommend getting some Fluffy Stuff as it is very fun and not too pricey. 🙂
I really enjoyed my first play with this set and my first Christmas card. I think the tree is beautifully detailed and the matching Shaded Spruce rhinestone topper makes me smile!
