Galaxy Pigment Sprinkles

Part two of my first play with pigment sprinkles. I had to hold back this duo as I have given one to my husband for our 1st Anniversary. 🙂

As mentioned in my previous post, pigment sprinkles are magical powders that most of the time don’t look anything like the colour they’re going to be. A little goes a long way and they’re then activated by water. Spraying different amounts of water gives different effects and you can layer until you get something you’re happy with. I also dried mine with a heat gun because I’m impatient. If you check out my Autumnal Pigment Sprinkles post you can see just how different those came out compared to these two “Galaxy” cards.

These are definitely my fave. Teal and purple are my favourite colours anyway and I love the effect of both of these backgrounds. They’re pretty mesmerising.

The sentiments for both cards are from the Daisy Lane stamp set from Stampin’ Up! and both cards are decorated using Noble Peacock Rhinestones – also gorgeous in their own right.
