Monster Bash Mausoleum

Morbid? Sure, but it’s Halloscream time. We’re into October and I can officially go full force spooky now. 🙂

This is another one for the Halloween party. I won’t completely spoil the surprise but there will be a lucky dip situation with this beaut.

It’s made using a customisable advent calendar from Stampin’ Up! which is available now (see links at the bottom). The extra good bit is that you can decorate the front and back of the boxes separately. So although I have decorated this Halloweeny, I’ll be turning the draws around and Christmassing up the other side. Two for one! I’ll show you my Christmas version next month. I can’t do Christmas until Halloween is over. 🙂

I used a single sheet of the Monster Bash DSP, and fussy cut the picture frames. That was enough for all 25 boxes. Single sheets of A4 was more than enough for the background colours which I used a 1″ circle punch to finish off. I chose colours out of the Designer Series Paper for matchy matchy: Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry and Basic Black.

The alternate, alternate version is to replace some of the boxes with the coffin boxes which fit great. See my earlier post for more detail on them.

A super quick project for Halloween and even quicker if you go with the Christmas decor you get in the calendar kit.

Thanks for reading and come back soon!
Sam xx
