Window Boxed Soaps with Matching DSP

So I saw these soaps in The Range last year and realised they’d go brilliant with the unicorn and mermaid sheets from my beloved Myths and Magic designer paper I keep showing. Matchy matchy! It’s taken until now though to actually make something!

So for the soap boxes, I measured the soap and drew out a pattern that would create the boxes. The shaded area is where I decided to add a little window. After scoring and cutting the box I added a oval die where the window should go and ran it through my Big Shot die cutting machine. Easy! I then added some acetate to cover the window hole and made up the boxes.

Creating the matching boxes is a lovely way to make a nice inexpensive gift into some special and (if I do say so myself) more impressive.
